Ibuprofen

Ibuprofen is a commonly used medication for pain and inflammation. It is part of a group of drugs known as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) and can be used in conditions such as PANDAS, PANS, juvenile arthritis as well as pain control following injury. It should be used with caution in conditions such as asthma and should be avoided in a child with active chicken pox due to potential problems with worsening infection of the skin.
