    • The public access areas of this website are intended for use by parents, guardians and anyone else who is interested in childrens’ healthcare issues. It provides general, non-case specific medical information and other information about children’s wellbeing. More specifically, it provides high level information about common health issues which affect children and is intended to be used as an educational and resource tool and should not be used for any other purpose without our permission.
    • The liability and responsibility for reliance on any of the information on this website rests with the person relying on it. In no way do we guarantee that the information contained on this website is entirely up to date or that all medical developments are taken into account in the information we make available. The information is intended to be read by lay persons and so does not include detailed medical analysis, research or similar.
    • Any products mentioned on this website are provided for information and education purposes only. In no way is a reference to any such products intended for marketing, endorsement or advertising purposes.
    • The content of this website and our App is provided by fully qualified health professionals including paediatric consultants, nurses, health visitors, psychiatrists, dieticians and other allied health workers.   However, this website or App should not be used as a replacement for specific medical advice from your GP or paediatrician and nothing on this website should be construed as medical advice which is specific to your circumstances nor does any content constitute any recommendation for treatment of a condition in any particular case or tailored medical advice. Any person using this website whose child has an actual or suspected health problem should not rely on any information on this website as a diagnosis or for treatment of any medical condition in any given case and you should consult your GP, paediatrician or other appropriately qualified medical practitioner.
    • Our website and App is not in any way designed to replace the service currently offered by the primary, secondary or tertiary services in the National Health Service and those services, particularly for acute medical conditions should still be used in the normal way. Our website is NOT designed to be relied on to treat acute medical conditions and should never be relied on as such.

    • There is an area of our website which may only be accessed by qualified doctors, nurses, medical students, GPs and other health professionals who register with us but we do reserve the right to further restrict access to other areas from time to time as we determine.
    • If at any time you are provided with a user identification code, password or other information as part of our security procedures in order to gain access to certain parts of the website, you must treat the same as confidential and must not disclose that information to any third party. We have the right to disable any user identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us if in our opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these Terms of Use.
    • You are responsible for making all arrangements necessary to access our website and for ensuring that all persons who access our website through your internet connection are aware of these Terms of Use.

We do not routinely ask for personal details relating to children, their symptoms or illnesses to be sent to us as the service we provide is on a non-case specific basis.
